Comparison of the Efficacy of Two Kinds of Endoplant Fixation Methods in the Treatment of Senile Neer Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ Proximal Humerus Fractures

Abstract：Objective:To compare the Multiloc humeral bone marrow nail system with the Philos proximal humeral lock fixation system for the clinical efficacy of proximal humeral fractures in the elderly.Methods:73 patients over 60 years of age who received orthopedic inpatient surgery in Xiqing Hospital from January 2020 to September 2023 were selected.The Neer classification of fracture was 30 cases with Ⅱ parts,34 cases with Ⅲ parts,and 9 cases with Ⅳ parts.According to different methods of internal fixation,patients were divided into observation group(30 cases,Multiloc internal fixation treatment)and control group(43 cases,Philos internal fixation treatment).The preoperative,intraoperative and postoperative data indexes of the two groups were compared.Results:There was no significant difference in preoperative general data between the observation group and the control group,with no statistically significant difference(χ2=0,3.154,0.048,2.064;t=0.530;P＞0.05).There were significant differences in operative time,intraoperative blood loss,fracture healing time and shoulder joint function score between the two groups,with statistically significant difference(t=-5.636,-10.571,-2.256,3.351;P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in postoperative complications between the two groups(χ2=1.435,0.010,0.453,0.078,0.987,0.707;P＞0.05).6 months after surgery,there was statistically significant difference in shoulder joint function scores between the two groups(t=3.37,P＜0.05).Conclusion:According to the results of comprehensive analysis,compared with the Philos internal fixation system,Multiloc humeral bone marrow internal nail system shows significant effects in the treatment of elderly proximal humerus fractures.It can effectively reducing intraoperative blood loss,shorten operative time and fracture healing time,improve postoperative shoulder joint function,and improve patients'quality of life.
