Therapeutic Effects Between Tongxinluo Capsules and Sacubitril Valsartan in the Treatment of Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection Fraction

Abstract：Objective:To explore the therapeutic effects of Tongxinluo Capsules and Sacubitril Valsartan in the treatment of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.Methods:60 patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction admitted to the hospital from October 2021 to September 2023 were selected.They were divided into control group and observation group randomly,with 30 cases in each group.All patients received anti heart failure treatment according to the guidelines for this disease.The control group received additional treatment with Tongxinluo capsules,while the observation group received additional treatment with sacubitril and valsartan.The clinical efficacy of two groups,including changes in heart rate variability(HRV),ventricular remodeling,and biomarkers of myocardial injury caused by autonomic nervous system dysfunction before and after treatment were compared.Results:The proportion of effective patients in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,with statistically significant difference(χ2=5.192,P＜0.05).After treatment,the standard deviation(SDNN)of high-frequency power(HF)and low-frequency power(LF)during the RR period of all sinus beats in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,with statistically significant difference(t=8.590,2.349,3.846;P＜0.05).After treatment,the left ventricular remodeling index(LVRI)and left ventricular mass index(LVMI)in the observation group were lower than the control group,with statistically significant difference(t=4.671,6.917;P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-proANP),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CPP),and cardiac troponin I(cTnI)in the observation group were lower than the control group,with statistically significant difference(t=4.319,7.403,11.619;P＜0.05).Conclusion:The use of sacubitril and valsartan is more effective than Tongxinluo capsules.It can further improve heart rate variability and ventricular remodeling in patients,and improve the degree of myocardial injury.
