Abstract:Objective:To investigate the correlation between fibrinogen/albumin ratio(FAR)and the severity of coronary artery disease. Methods:A total of 461 patients with chest pain admitted to the hospital from January to June 2021 and undergoing coronary angiography were selected as the study objects, including 264 patients with angina pectoris,85 patients with acute myocardial infarction, and 112 patients with normal angiography. The contents of fibrinogen and albumin were measured and FAR was calculated. The difference of FAR among all groups was compared, and the relationship between FAR level and the number of coronary diseased vessels, coronary blood flow, collateral circulation and Gensini score was analyzed. Results:FAR level of control group was lower than that of angina pectoris group and myocardial infarction group, and angina pectoris group was lower than that of myocardial infarction group, with statistically significant difference(Z=29.938,P<0.001).The FAR level of patients with three-vessel disease was higher than those with single-vessel disease and double-vessel disease, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The FAR level in the slow blood flow group was higher than that in the normal blood flow group, with statistically significant difference(Z=5.345,7.008;P<0.001).After excluding coronary slow blood flow, the correlation coefficient between Gensini score and FAR was 0.286.Conclusion:The FAR level is correlated with the severity of coronary artery disease and has certain value in the evaluation of the severity of coronary artery disease.
