Abstract:Objective:In analytical quality management, target setting models that are selected by the purpose together with the error models and are applied correctly have critical importance. To compare the analytical performance characteristics of routine clinical chemistry tests with different target-setting models proposed by various organizations. Methods:The study was performed with internal and external quality control data obtained using Beckman Coulter DxC800 for clinical chemistry analytes.Measurement uncertainty(MU)has been calculated adhering to the Nordtest guideline. Results were compared with BVEFLM,WS/T403-2012,CLIA,RiliBÄK,RCPA to investigate analytical performance qualities. Results:The results of MU and pU with different target settings were compared,TG met all target values, showing the best performance. Results show that WS/T403-2012,RiliBÄK for measurement uncertainty and RiliBÄK for permissible MU(pU)could match better. Conclusion:These test results should be evaluated with measurement uncertainty to avoid misdiagnosis.Appropriate specification limits should be defined for the examination of test methods. At the same time, when the patient's test results approach the reference limit or decision limit, combining MU evaluation can effectively avoid misdiagnosis. This process requires collaboration among laboratories, clinical doctors, and laboratory information systems(LIS).
