Clinical Efficacy of Dextroprogesterone Combined with Hysteroscopy in the Treatment of Endometrial Polyps and its Effect on Recurrence Rate

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of dextroprogesterone combined with hysteroscopy in the treatment of endometrial polyps(EP)and its effect on recurrence rate.Methods:52 patients with EP who received treatment in the hospital from January 2021 to September 2023 were selected and grouped according to the treatment plan.32 patients in the control group were treated with hysteroscopic electrosurgery only,and 20 patients in the observation group were treated with dextroprogesterone combined with hysteroscopic electrosurgery.The clinical efficacy,menstrual situation and endometrial thickness,hemoglobin level and recurrence rate of the two groups were compared.Results:The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.237,P＜0.05).After treatment,the menstrual volume,menstrual days and endometrial thickness in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the menstrual cycle increased significantly,with statistically significant difference(t=5.063,3.172,5.468,3.443;P＜0.05).3 and 12 months after treatment,the hemoglobin level in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the recurrence rate was significantly lower than that in the control group,with statistically significant difference(t=2.151,9.006;χ2=4.239,5.085;P＜0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of dieldrogestrel combined with hysteroscopy in the treatment of EP patients is remarkable,which can significantly improve the patients'menstrual situation,endometrial thickness,and hemoglobin level,and significantly reduce the recurrence rate of EP.
