Correlation Between Serum Interleukin-37 Level and Prognosis of Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the correlation between serum interleukin-37(IL-37)level and prognosis of patients with acute coronary syndrome.Methods:92 patients with acute coronary syndrome in the hospital from January 2019 to November 2020 were selected as the acute coronary syndrome group,including 45 cases of acute myocardial infarction,47 cases of unstable angina pectoris and 92 healthy people in the same period were selected as the healthy control group with the ratio of 1∶1.The levels of serum IL-37,interferon-γ(IFN-γ)and cardiac function[left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)]were compared between the two groups.The levels of serum IL-37,IFN-γ and cardiac function in acute coronary syndrome group were higher than those in control group.Results:Serum levels of IL-37 and IFN-γ in acute coronary syndrome group were higher than those in healthy control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=36.248,25.444;P＜0.05).The serum levels of IL-37 and IFN-γ in patients with acute myocardial infarction were higher than those in patients with unstable angina pectoris,and the difference was statistically significant(t=11.263,7.359;P＜0.05).LVEF level in acute coronary syndrome group was lower than that in healthy control group,and LVEDD level was higher than that in healthy control group,the difference was statistically significant(t=6.467,6.630,6.604,2.220;P＜0.05).The results of Pearson analysis showed that IL-37 and IFN-γ were negatively correlated with LVEF,while IL-37 and IFN-γ were positively correlated with LVEDD(r=-0.574,-0.612,0.643,0.672;P＜0.05).Conclusion:The heart function of patients with acute coronary syndrome is decreased,and the serum IL-37 and IFN-γ are abnormally increased,which are significantly correlated with the heart function of patients.It can reflect the severity of the disease,be used for prognosis evaluation,and guide the clinical implementation of the best treatment plan.
