Abstract:Objective:To observe the safety and efficacy of minimalist transcatheter aortic valve replacement(TAVR)in the treatment of high-risk and contraindicated symptomatic severe aortic valve stenosis(AVS).Methods:11 patients with severe calcified AVS in Daqing Longnan Hospital were collected from April 2023 to May 2024;and the immediate success rate of minimalist TAVR,and regular follow-up of patients'cardiac function,valve-related data changes, adverse events, etc were compared. Results:All patients had an immediate success rate of 100%,and 6 patients with AVS combined with coronary heart disease received one-stop TAVR+percutaneous coronary intervention.Cardiac pacemaker implantation was performed in 1 patient with heart block. No serious complications was observed in 3 patients with perivalvular leakage. After operation, the mean cross-valve pressure difference and maximum flow velocity of the patients were decreased compared with those before operation, and the difference was statistically significant(t=9.191,15.126;P<0.05).Conclusion:Minimalist TAVR has high safety in severe AVS.It has improved cardiac function status in the short term, and hemodynamic parameters.
