Analysis of Risk Factors for Hypoxemia in Infants During Recovery from General Anesthesia Based on Diaphragmatic Ultrasound Parameters
Zhang Hemao
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application value of diaphragm ultrasound parameters in predicting hypoxemia in infants and young children during recovery from general anesthesia, and to analyze related risk factors. Methods:A total of 60 infants who underwent elective general anesthesia surgery in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture People's Hospital from January to December 2024 were selected as the study objects, and the children were divided into hypoxia group and non-hypoxia group according to whether hypoxemia occurred, and the diaphragm ultrasound parameters and other clinical indicators of the two groups were compared.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to determine the independent risk factors for hypoxemia.Results:8 of 60 infants underwent general anesthesia had hypoxemia, the incidence of hypoxemia was 13.33%.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that low gestational age, combined underlying diseases, intraoperative blood transfusion,DE and DTF during extubation were all risk factors for hypoxemia during the recovery period of general anesthesia(OR=3.716,1.434,3.343,0.660,0.511;P<0.05).Conclusion:Low gestational age, complicated underlying diseases, low DE and DTF during intraoperative blood transfusion, and extubation are risk factors for hypoxemia in infants and young children during recovery from general anesthesia.Diaphragm ultrasound parameters can be used as an effective indicator to predict hypoxemia in the convalescent period of general anesthesia in infants.Clinical attention should be paid to infants with the above risk factors, and targeted preventive measures should be taken to reduce the incidence of hypoxemia and ensure the safety of children in the convalescent period of general anesthesia.
