Abstract:Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of bilateral pulse index(PI),serum β villous gonadotropin(β-HCG)and progesterone combined with ultrasound in ectopic pregnancy. Methods:Retrospectively collecting 164 patients with suspected ectopic pregnancy in the hospital from January 2022 to December 2023,and dividing them into normal group(77 cases)and ectopic pregnancy group(87 cases)after surgical or pathological findings as the gold standard.Characteristics of negative ultrasound sonograms, vaginal ultrasound parameters resistance index(RI),peak systolic flow velocity(PSV),functional and non-functional pulse index(PI),end-diastolic flow velocity(EDV),endometrial thickness and serum β-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-HCG)and progesterone level of the two groups were compared. The diagnostic results of single and combined ultrasound, serum β-HCG and progesterone levels and their diagnostic efficacy were compared. Results:RI,PSV,functional PI and EDV in ectopic pregnancy group were significantly higher than those in normal group, while the non-functional PI and endometrial thickness were lower than those in normal group, with statistically significant difference(t=3.795,27.473,8.618,14.411,-2.127,-14.490;P<0.05).Serum levels of β-HCG and progesterone in ectopic pregnancy group were significantly lower than those in normal group, with statistically significant difference(t=223.218,79.233;P<0.001).The sensitivity of the combined diagnosis of negative ultrasonography, serum β-HCG and progesterone was 97.70%,and the missed diagnosis rate was 2.30%,which were lower than that of single diagnosis, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=16.515,16.515;P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of ultrasound and serum β-HCG and progesterone in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy has high diagnostic sensitivity and low missed diagnosis rate, which can provide a reliable basis for clinical diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy.
