Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of bronchoscopic alveolar lavage combined with azithromycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children. Methods:A total of 320 children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia treated in the respiratory department of the hospital from January 2020 to January 2024 were collected and divided into control group(n=156)and observation group(n=164)according to different treatment methods. The control group received support symptomatic treatment. The observation group was treated with azithromycin dry suspension combined with bronchoalveolar lavage under bronchoscopy.Symptom improvement time, length of stay, hospitalization cost, pulmonary ventilation index level[total lung volume(TLC),vital capacity(VC),tidal volume(VT)and maximum expiratory flow(MEF)],total effective rate of clinical efficacy, adverse reactions and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results:In observation group, fever disappeared, cough improved, lesion absorption and hospitalization time were shorter, but hospitalization cost was higher. The difference was statistically significant(t=8.592,10.605,18.304,20.411,162.474;P<0.001).After treatment, the levels of VC,VT,MEF and TLC in 2 groups were higher than before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the reference group, with statistically significant difference(t=9.304,9.389,7.714,7.598;P<0.001).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=20.066,P<0.001).The incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=9.608,5.972;P<0.05).Conclusion:Fiberoptic bronchoalveolar lavage combined with azithromycin in the treatment of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children is beneficial to reduce the time of fever disappearance, cough improvement, and lesion absorption;and improve pulmonary ventilation function. The treatment effect is significant, the safety is high, the outpatient treatment cycle is shortened, and the recurrence rate is low.
