Comparison on the Application of Hem-o-lok Suspension and Ectopic Vessel Transposition in Anderson-Hynes Surgery for UPJO Patients

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of Hem-o-lok suspension and ectopic vessel transposition in laparoscopic pyeloplasty(Anderson-Hynes)in patients with ureteropelvic junction obstruction(UPJO)induced by ectopic vessel compression.Methods:A total of 136 patients with UPJO induced by ectopic vessel compression who underwent Anderson-Hynes in the hospital from June 2021 to November 2023 were enrolled as the research objects.According to different treatment methods for ectopic vessels,they were divided into Hem-o-lok suspension group(n=72)and ectopic vessel transposition group(n=64).The perioperative indexes in the two groups were recorded.The changes of serum creatinine,glomerular filtration rate(GFR),renal pelvis dilation and renal long diameter were compared between the two groups before and at 3 months after surgery.The occurrence of postoperative complications in the two groups was recorded.Results:The operation time and treatment time of ectopic vessels in Hem-o-lok suspension group were shorter than those in ectopic vessel transposition group(t=4.028,7.056;P＜0.05).At 3 months after surgery,renal pelvis dilation was decreased in both groups,which was lower in Hem-o-lok suspension group than ectopic vessel transposition group(t=6.208,P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in incidence of postoperative complications between Hem-o-lok suspension group and ectopic vessel transposition group(χ2=0.349,P＞0.05).Conclusion:The application of Hem-o-lok suspension in Anderson-Hynes can shorten treatment time of ectopic vessels and operation time,and improve renal pelvis dilatation in patients with UPJO induced by ectopic vessel compression,without significant adverse effects on renal function.
