Clinical Observation of Phentolamine Combined with CBP in the Treatment of Severe Elderly Patients with Multiple Organ Failure

Abstract：Objective:To study the clinical effect of phentolamine combined with CBP in the treatment of severe elderly patients with multiple organ failure.Methods:A total of 80 patients with severe pneumonia combined with multiple organ failure admitted to Zhengzhou Central Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University from October 2020 to November 2021 were selected as the study objects.According to the emergency number of the patients after admission,the above patients were randomly divided into the study group and the control group using a random number table,with 40 patients in each group.All patients were treated with antibiotics combined with continuous blood purification.The patients in the study group were treated with phentolamine combined for 2 weeks in each group.The differences in treatment effect,prognosis,laboratory indicators,critical scores and inflammatory indicators were compared between the two groups.Results:The therapeutic effect of the study group was significantly better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.495,P＜0.05).The mortality rate of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.591,P＜0.05).After treatment,the body temperature,mean arterial pressure,dopamine,respiratory rate,heart rate,fibrinogen,peak airway pressure,blood glucose,24 h urine volume and white blood cells of patients in both groups were significantly improved(t=2.520,15.038,46.724,1.952,9.483,5.131,6.713,4.701,230.002,4.992;P＜0.05).After treatment,hs-CRP and IL-6 in the study group were lower than those of the control(t=85.630,7.500;P＜0.05).Conclusion:Phentolamine combined with CBP in the treatment of severe elderly patients with multiple organ failure can significantly reduce the inflammatory response level,and the clinical efficacy is good.
