Abstract:Objective:To analyze the impact of arthroscopic rotator cuff injury repair surgery on joint range of motion and postoperative complications in patients with rotator cuff injuries. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 78 patients with rotator cuff injuries admitted to the Department of Sports Medicine,Puyang People's Hospital from December 2021 to November 2023.They were divided into two groups according to different treatment methods, with 39 cases in each group. The control group was treated with small incision rotator cuff repair surgery, while the observation group was treated with full arthroscopic rotator cuff injury repair surgery. The pain level, shoulder joint function, joint range of motion and postoperative complications were compared between two groups. Results:After operation, the VAS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference(t=11.988,P<0.001).After surgery,UCLA scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant difference(t=6.877,6.788,4.223,4.193,4.127;P<0.001).After surgery, the shoulder joint motion of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference(t=2.832,6.950,2.396;P<0.05).There were fewer complications in the observation group than in the control group, with statistically significant difference(χ2=4.523,P=0.033).Conclusion:Full arthroscopic rotator cuff injury repair surgery for patients with rotator cuff injuries can not only reduce postoperative pain and improve joint mobility, but also promote functional repair of the affected shoulder joint, with fewer postoperative complications and higher safety.
