Impact of Pulmonary Artery Floating Catheter on Prognosis During Elderly Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Surgery

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of pulmonary artery floating catheter on the prognosis of elderly patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 400 patients who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting in the hospital from January 2022 to January 2023.The patients were divided into good prognosis group(327 cases)and poor prognosis group(73 cases)based on their postoperative prognosis.One-way ANOVA was used to analyze the general information of two groups of patients,and multiple logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the factors affecting the prognosis of elderly patients after coronary artery bypass grafting.Results:Patients in the good prognosis group had shorter surgical time,lower suspended red blood cell transfusion volume,and more pulmonary artery floating catheters compared to those in the poor prognosis group(t=11.169,9.999;χ2=5.230;P<0.05).The results of logistic regression analysis showed that surgical time,use of pulmonary artery floating catheter and suspended red blood cell infusion volume were all factors affecting the prognosis of elderly coronary artery bypass grafting surgery.Surgical time and suspended red blood cell transfusion volume were risk factors for elderly coronary artery bypass grafting(OR=1.027,60.487;P<0.001),while the use of pulmonary artery floating catheter was a protective factor(OR=0.099,P<0.05).Conclusion:Surgical time,use of pulmonary artery floating catheter monitoring and suspended red blood cell infusion volume are all factors affecting the prognosis of elderly coronary artery bypass grafting.
