Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with acupoint application intervention in stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods:A random number table method was used to divide 100 stroke hemiplegic patients admitted to the hospital from October 2021 to December 2023 into two groups.50 patients who received early rehabilitation training were set as the control group, and 50 patients who received early rehabilitation training+acupuncture and moxibustion combined with acupoint application intervention were set as the observation group. The two groups received continuous intervention for 12 weeks.Limb motor function, walking ability, balance ability, nerve function, daily living ability and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results:After intervention, the Fugl Meyer motor function score(FMA),Holden walking function classification(FAC),Berg balance scale(BBS),functional independence measurement(FIM),comprehensive quality of life assessment questionnaire(GQOL-74)scores,and 6-minute walking distance(6MWT)of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(t=10.764,9.208,12.458,7.063;P<0.05),while the neurological function scale(NIHSS)scores were lower than those of the control group(t=9.480,11.822,4.111;P<0.05).After intervention,GQOL-74 score in observation group was higher than that in control group, with statistical significance(t=4.803,4.955,7.414,7.242;P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with acupoint application intervention in stroke patients with hemiplegia can improve limb motor function, walking ability and balance ability;reduce the degree of nerve defect;and improve the ability of daily life and quality of life.
