Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of the PRECEDE mode on improving treatment compliance and rehabilitation effectiveness of pediatric pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods:A total of 124 children with pulmonary tuberculosis admitted to Yellow River Sanmenxia Hospital from October 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects. The enrolled patients were divided into control group(62 cases)and intervention group(62 cases)by computer randomization method. The control group only implemented routine nursing, and the intervention group implemented clinical nursing based on the PRECEDE model. The treatment compliance, medical compliance, the situation of sputum bacteria turning negative and the recovery process were compared. Results:Under different nursing modes, the treatment compliance in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(Z=2.143,P<0.05).The rates of timely medication, regular review and treatment completion in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=9.517,9.901,11.216;P<0.05).The sputum negative conversion rate of children in the intervention group after 1 month,2 months and 3 months was higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference(χ2=6.430,16.330,18.568;P<0.05).The mean time of sputum turning negative and hospital stay in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.375,3.155;P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical nursing under the PRECEDE mode can effectively improve the treatment compliance of children with pulmonary tuberculosis, and has positive significance in promoting the negative conversion of sputum bacteria in children and accelerating the recovery process.
