Abstract:Objective:To observe the impact of multidimensional health education on the rehabilitation process and prognosis of patients with spinal cord injury. Methods:The subjects of this study were 110 patients with spinal cord injury admitted to Zhumadian Central Hospital from January 2021 to June 2022.They were divided into conventional group and experimental group by double-blind sampling method, with 55 cases in both groups. The conventional group received routine intervention, and the experimental group received multi-dimensional health education combined intervention. All patients were followed up for 1 year, and the health cognition level, rehabilitation compliance, rehabilitation process and prognosis of the two groups were compared. Results:After intervention, scores of disease-related knowledge, precautions for diagnosis and treatment, and personal management points in test groups were higher than those in conventional group, with statistically significant difference(t=2.835,2.779,3.252;P<0.05).The rate of rehabilitation compliance in the test group was higher than that in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=2.062;P<0.05).The duration of getting out of bed, pain relief, hospital stay and vertebral function recovery in experimental groups were lower than those in conventional group, with statistically significant difference(t=3.316,5.475,5.772,4.063;P<0.05).The complication rate of experimental group was lower than that of conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=8.664,P<0.05).Conclusion:Multidimensional health education is beneficial for improving the health cognition level and rehabilitation compliance of patients with spinal cord injury. It has positive significance in accelerating the rehabilitation process and reducing the risk of complications.
