Observation on the Combined Effect of Jianpi Huazhuo Tongqiao Tang and Budesonide in the Treatment of Patients with Sinusitis

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the effect of Jianpi Huazhuo Tongqiao Tang combined with budesonide in the treatment of sinusitis.Methods:The study used two control methods to analyze the effect of Jianpi Huazhuo Tongqiao Tang combined with budesonide in the treatment of sinusitis.86 patients with sinusitis admitted to Department of Otolaryngology,Nanyang Central Hospital from September 2021 to August 2023 were selected as observation samples,and they were divided into control group and observation group,with 43 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with budesonide aerosol and Jianpi Huazhuo Tongqiao Tang.The therapeutic effects,symptom scores and other indicators were compared between the two groups.Results:The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.599;P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of symptoms in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant difference(t=47.766,66.566,72.721,62.616;P＜0.05).After treatment,the score of edema and rhinorrhea in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=56.014,65.005;P＜0.05).After treatment,immune indexes and inflammatory factor indexes were decreased in both groups,and the levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group at the same period,with statistically significant difference(t=28.729,46.671,13.742,39.064;P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Jianpi Huazhuo Tongqiao Tang and budesonide has significant effect on patients with sinusitis.It can effectively improve clinical symptoms,reduceedema and nasal leakage symptoms,and improve immune and inflammatory functions.
