Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical value of NLR and PLR in predicting the prognosis of MHD patients with ESRD.Methods:According to the prognosis within one year of treatment,225 end-stage renal disease patients who underwent MHD treatment in the Nephrology and Rheumatology Department of the Central Hospital of Qianjiang from January 2020 to October 2022 were divided into a death group(n=42)and a survival group(n=183).The clinical data related indicators between the two groups were compared. The peripheral blood neutrophil, lymphocyte and platelets were measured by automatic biochemical analyzer, and NLR and PLR were calculated. The influencing factors of death in MHD patients with ESRD were analyzed by logistic regression equation. The predictive value of combined detection of NLR and PLR in MHD patients with ESRD was analyzed by ROC curve. Results:NLR and PLR in death group were higher than those in survival group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=9.142,9.325;P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that high levels of NLR and PLR were risk factors for death in MHD patients with end-stage renal disease(OR=5.172,5.215;P<0.05).The AUC,sensitivity and specificity of combined NLR and PLR in predicting death of MHD patients with end-stage renal disease were better than that of single index. Conclusion:The combined detection of NLR and PLR can significantly improve the sensitivity and specificity in predicting the prognosis of MHD patients with ESRD.
