Application Study of Carboprost Tromethamine in Preventing the Risk of Postpartum Hemorrhage in Scar Uterus

Abstract：Objective:To observe the preventive and therapeutic effects of carboprost tromethamine on postpartum hemorrhage in scar uterus.Methods:106 patients with scar uterus admitted to the hospital from January 2022 and May 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into conventional group(53 cases)and experimental group(53 cases)with computer randomization method.The conventional group received conventional treatment,while the experimental group received auxiliary treatment with carboprost tromethamine.The bleeding,hemostasis,uterine artery hemodynamic parameters,pregnancy outcomes and medication safety 3 h,6 h,and 9 h postpartum were compared between the two groups.Results:Under different treatment regimens,the bleeding volume scores of the experimental group 3 h,6 h,and 9 h postpartum were lower than those of the control group(t=3.259,3.775,2.437;P＜0.05).The hemostasis time of the experimental group was lower than that of the conventional group,and the success rate of hemostasis was higher than that of the conventional group(t=12.357,χ2=8.008,P＜0.05).The S/D and PI of the experimental group were higher than those of the conventional group,while the RI was lower than that of the conventional group(t=4.242,6.410,4.198;P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome in experimental group was 7.55%,which was lower than that in conventional group(22.64%),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=8.884,P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse drug reactions in experimental group was 13.21%,which was slightly higher than that in conventional group(9.43%),with no statistically significant difference(χ2=0.712,P＞0.05).Conclusion:Carboprost tromethamine can to some extent reduce the risk of postpartum hemorrhage in scarred uterus,and has positive significance in improving uterine hemodynamic parameters and pregnancy outcomes.Combined use of this drug does not significantly increase the risk of side effects,and its safety is relatively high.
