Abstract:Objective:To explore the predictive value of serum thrombomodulin(TM),oxidized low density lipoprotein(OxLDL)and central nervous system specific protein(S100β)in acute cerebral infarction(ACI)with cognitive dysfunction(CD).Methods:216 patients with ACI were selected as the disease group, while 216 healthy volunteers were selected as the control group. The levels of serum TM,OxLDL,S100β between the two groups were detected and compared. The disease group was divided into CD group and non CD group based on whether they had concurrent CD,and the levels of serum TM,OxLDL and S100β were compared between the two groups. The influencing factors of ACI with CD and the predictive value of serum TM,OxLDL,S100β for ACI with CD were analyzed. Results:The levels of serum TM,OxLDL and S100β in the disease group were higher than those in the control group(t=12.853,17.051,31.354;P<0.05).The incidence of ACI with CD was 37.96%.Logistic regression analysis showed that high admission NIHSS score and serum levels of TM,OxLDL and S100β were all risk factors for ACI with CD(OR=1.978,1.326,2.875;P<0.05).The ROC curve analysis showed that the sensitivity and area under curve of the combination of serum TM,OxLDL and S100β in predicting ACI with CD were 93.90%and 83.58%,respectively,and their specificity was basically consistent with the individual predictions of each indicator. Conclusion:The levels of serum TM,OxLDL,S100β in patients with ACI are elevated, and all of which have certain predictive value for ACI with CD,but the combined predictive value of the three is higher.
