Abstract:Objective:To explore predictive factors of sequential PEG-IFNα-2b in CHB patients for achieving functional cure. Methods:A total of 80 CHB patients from August 2019 to August 2022 who were admitted in Zhengzhou University Affiliated Luoyang Central Hospital were selected, and all patients were underwent sequential PEG-IFNα-2b treatment, statistical analysis of the achievement of functional cure, and single factor analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were conducted to clarify the predictive factors for functional cure, evaluate the predictive efficacy by the ROC curve. Results:Among the 80 CHB patients,39 were functionally cured, and 41 were not cured. In comparison of the untreated group, the functional cured group had lower baseline HBsAg,12-week HBsAg,24-week HBsAg,and baseline TBIL levels, the peak ALT levels during the treatment were higher(t=29.264,33.326,34.116,7.467,0.900;P<0.05).The results of multivariate logistic analysis showed that baseline HBsAg,baseline TBIL,and peak ALT during treatment were the factors that affected the sequential PEG-IFNα-2b of CHB patients(OR=0.992,0.917,1.447;P<0.05).Plotting ROC curves showed that, the area under the curve for baseline HBsAg,baseline TBIL,and peak ALT during treatment predict sequential, combination of various factors for PEG-IFNα-2b in CHB patients achieving functional cure with treatment was 0.897,0.944,0.952,0.665,0.948 and 0.974.Conclusion:The clinical effect of sequential PEG-IFNα-2b treatment on CHB is accurate.Baseline HBsAg,baseline TBIL and peak ALT during treatment can all be used to predict the achievement of functional cure, with high predictive value.
