Abstract:Objective:To examine the correlation between alterations in vaginal microbial composition and the early rupture of maternal membranes, infections within the uterus, and postpartum infections. Methods:A total of 88 pregnant women who came to the prenatal examination from May 2020 to August 2022 were selected to collect vaginal secretions for aerobic culture.46 pregnant women with positive aerobic culture in the third trimester were set as the positive group and 42 pregnant women with negative aerobic culture were set as the negative group according to the laboratory results.Maternal and neonatal outcomes were observed in both groups. Results:The incidence of premature rupture of membranes and puerperal infection in positive group was higher than that in over-negative group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=4.951,4.399;P<0.05).The incidence of low birth weight infants and neonatal infection in positive group was higher than that in negative group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=7.349,6.035;P<0.05).Conclusion:The late trimester of pregnancy with positive aerobic culture increases the health risks of premature rupture of membranes, intrauterine infection, puerperal infection, neonatal infection, preterm birth and low birth weight of pregnant women.
