Clinical Effect of Percutaneous Compression of Trigeminal Semilunar Ganglion Microsphere Capsule in the Treatment of Trigeminal Neuralgia

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of percutaneous microballoon compression of semilunar ganglion of trigeminal nerve in patients with trigeminal neuralgia.Methods:150 patients with trigeminal neuralgia in the hospital from May 2021 to December 2022 were selected as samples,and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group.The control group received conventional treatment,while the observation group received percutaneous puncture of trigeminal ganglion microsphere compression.The treatment effect,pain perception and sleep quality,pain substances and microinflammatory reactive substances and complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=8.963,P＜0.05).3,7,14 and 21 days after treatment,NRS and PSQI scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant difference(t=2.682,4.452,7.765,11.400;P＜0.05).The levels of SP,PGE2,β-EP,IL-6,CRP and TNF-α in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=4.222,18.805,8.496,8.535,4.426,2.498;P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(x2=0,P＞0.05).Conclusion:Percutaneous puncture of trigeminal nerve semilunar ganglion microballoon compression has good effect on the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia patients.It can significantly improve the pain symptoms of patients,improve their sleep quality,reduce the accumulation of painful substances and inflammatory substances,and has a high safety.
