Abstract:Objective:To observe the preventive and therapeutic effects of high-dose dexmedetomidine assisted cheek acupuncture therapy on PONV in minimally invasive gynecological surgery.Methods:110 patients were selected as the research subjects, and randomly divided into two groups, with 55 cases in each group. Both groups received high-dose dexmedetomidine combined with treatment, while the combination group received cheek acupuncture combined with treatment. The postoperative analgesic and sedative effects, incidence and severity of PONV,relief of physiological and psychological symptoms, postoperative recovery, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups of patients. Results:Under different treatment regimens, the VAS scores of the combined group were lower than those of the conventional group 6 and 12 h after surgery, and the RSS scores were higher than those of the conventional group(t=2.873,3.602,7.627,13.436;P<0.05).The incidence of PONV in the combination group 6,12,and 24 h was lower than that in the control group, and the proportion of severe PONV was lower than that in the control group(x2=9.219,11.387,11.378,7.620;P<0.05).The INVR scores of the combined group 6 and 12 hours were lower than those of the conventional group, and the GCQ scores were higher than those of the conventional group(t=5.117,6.017,2.591,2.821;P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the combination group was significantly higher than that in the control group(x2=7.734,P<0.05).Conclusion:High dose dexmedetomidine assisted cheek acupuncture therapy can enhance the analgesic and sedative effects in patients undergoing minimally invasive gynecological surgery. It is beneficial for preventing and treating PONV,improving physical and mental state, and reducing the risk of adverse reactions.
