Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of butylphthalide soft capsule in improving the neurological deficit of acute ischemic stroke at different time windows.Methods:180 patients with acute ischemic stroke who were hospitalized from May 2018 to October 2021 for the first time were selected as the study objects. They were divided into Ⅳ thrombolysis group(G1 group),intravascular therapy group(G2 group)and general therapy group(G0 group),with 60 cases in each group.According to random number table method, the patients in group G1,G2 and G0 were divided into observation group(using butylphthalein softgel)and control group(without butylphthalein softgel),with 30 cases in each group.Serum homocysteine(Hcy)level,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)and modified Rankin Rating Scale(mRS)scores and the occurrence of adverse reactions were observed in each group. Results:After 90 days of treatment,NIHSS score decreased in all groups, and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.96,4.29,6.57,6.19,8.23,9.34;P<0.05).mRS Scores of all groups decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.40,2.37,1.82,1.97,1.94,2.13;P<0.05).The NIHSS and mRS Scores of patients with NIHSS score of 7~15 in G1 group only were lower than those in G2 group, with statistically significant difference(t=2.35,2.57;P<0.05).After 14 days of treatment, the difference of Hcy level in G1,G2 and G0 groups was statistically significant(t=1.48,1.53,1.19;P<0.05).Conclusion:Butylphthalide can reduce the level of homocysteine in acute ischemic stroke at different time, and has significant clinical therapeutic effect, especially in patients with moderate acute ischemic stroke whose NIHSS 7~15 points.
