Clinical Observation of High Dose Rosuvastatin Calcium in Adjuvant Therapy of Transient Ischemic Attack
Liu Xiaoyin
Abstract:Objective:To explore the application effect of high-dose rosuvastatin calcium adjuvant therapy in patients with transient ischemic attack(TIA).Methods:86 TIA patients admitted to the hospital from October 2021 to August 2023 were selected, and randomly divided into two groups, with 43 patients in each group, using a random number table method. The control group received conventional dose rosuvastatin calcium adjuvant therapy, while the observation group received high-dose rosuvastatin calcium adjuvant therapy for 8 weeks. The clinical efficacy, atherosclerosis level, blood lipid index, cerebral blood flow parameters, quality of life and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.468,P<0.05).After treatment, the carotid intima-media thickness(IMT)and plaque area in observation group were lower than those in control group, with statistically significant difference(t=4.583,4.779;P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of cholesterol(TC),low-density protein cholesterol(LDL-C)and cholesterol(TC)in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the levels of high-density protein cholesterol(HDL-C)were higher than those in control group, with statistically significant difference(t=4.563,6.557,5.898,5.065;P<0.05).After treatment, the maximum cerebral blood flow velocity(Vmax),average flow velocity(Vmean)and blood flow(Qmean)in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the blood flow resistance index(RI)was lower than those in control group, with statistically significant difference(t=4.765,4.710,3.770,1.764;P<0.05).The score of GQOLI-74 in observation group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=6.470,6.159,7.844,7.181;P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(x2=0.179,P>0.05).Conclusion:High dose rosuvastatin calcium adjuvant therapy can enhance the therapeutic effect of TIA,improve atherosclerosis and cerebral blood flow parameters, correct dyslipidemia, and have fewer adverse reactions,so it can improve the quality of life of patients.
