Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP)combined with transurethral endocervical incision(TUIBN)with preservation of 12-point urethral mucosa on small prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)complicated by bladder outlet obstruction(BOO).Methods:Patients with small volume benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)combined with bladder outlet obstruction(BOO)treated in Qijiang District People's Hospital of Chongqing from March 2015 to March 2019 were treated with TURP as the control group.A total of 70 cases were collected from March 2019 to March 2023.Patients with small volume benign prostatic hyperplasia with bladder outlet obstruction were treated with TURP combined with TUIBN at 12 o'clock urethral mucosa at lithotomy position as the observation group.A total of 74 cases were collected. The changes of relevant indicators including prostate symptom score(IPSS),quality of life score(QOL),maximum urinary flow rate(Qmax),bladder residual urine volume(PVR)and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups before and after surgery. Results:After treatment,IPSS,QOL and PVR in observation group were lower than those in control group, while Qmax was higher, with statistically significant difference(t=12.227,18.520,49.206;P<0.05).The incidence of fibroscleroses contracture of bladder neck, urethral stricture and temporary urinary incontinence in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.646,6.298;P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of TURP combined with TUIBN with 12-point urethral mucosa preservation in small volume of prostatic hyperplasia combined with bladder outlet obstruction has a definite effect and low complication rate.
