Analysis of Influencing Factors of Lobar Pneumonia in Children with Mycoplasma Pneumonia

Abstract:Objective:To analyze the influencing factors of lobar pneumonia in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP)and provide basis for formulating intervention measures. Methods:This study was a retrospective study. The clinical data of 102 children with MPP in Xinyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from October 2020 to December 2021 were collected.According to the occurrence of lobar pneumonia in children, they were divided into occurrence group and non occurrence group. The baseline data of children were reviewed, and the data needed for the study were statistically analyzed.Possible factors were included, and the influencing factors of MPP children complicated with lobar pneumonia were found through multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results:Among 102 cases of MPP,41 cases were complicated with lobar pneumonia, accounting for 40.20%(41/102).There were 61 children without lobar pneumonia, accounting for 59.80%(61/102).There were statistically significant differences in the time of fever, the time from onset to use of macrolide drugs, the level of serum CRP and IL-6 between the occurrence group and the non occurrence group(t=5.978,3.436,11.613,8.797;P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that long fever time, late use of macrolides, high serum CRP and IL-6 levels were risk factors for lobar pneumonia in children with MPP(OR=1.793,1.598,1.498,1.517;P<0.05).Conclusion:The risk factors of lobar pneumonia in children with MPP may be long fever time, late use of macrolide drugs, high serum CRP and IL-6 levels.
