Abstract:Objective:To analyze the incidence rate and risk factors of postoperative lower extremity deep vein thrombosis(DVT)in patients with varicose great saphenous veins. Methods:A total of 97 patients with varicose great saphenous veins who were treated with high ligation and stripping of the great saphenous vein in the hospital from August 2019 to August 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into the study group(n=14)and the control group(n=83)according to the presence or absence of DVT after surgery. The incidence rate of postoperative DVT was calculated, and logistic regression analysis was performed to identify the risk factors for DVT.Results:Among the 97 patients,a total of 14 patients had DVT,with an incidence rate of 14.43%.Univariate analysis found that there were statistically significant differences between groups in terms of the proportions of patients aged≥60 years old, patients with diabetes, patients using hormone drugs at one month before surgery and patients with course of varicose veins≥5 years, and D-Dimer level(χ2=6.634,4.318,6.251,4.430;t=11.545;P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis found that age≥60 years old, diabetes, use of hormone drugs at 1 month before operation, course of varicose veins≥5 years and D-Dimer level were the risk factors for postoperative DVT in patients with varicose great saphenous veins(OR=2.303,3.618,2.347,2.435,2.866;P<0.05).Conclusion:The incidence of postoperative DVT in patients with postoperative great saphenous veins is 14.43%.Age,diabetes,use of hormone drugs at one month before surgery, course of varicose veins and D-Dimer level are risk factors for postoperative DVT.
