Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of Xuebijing injection on liver and kidney function as well as inflammatory markers in patients with infectious multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS).Methods:Selecting 60 patients with infectious MODS treated in the Intensive Care Unit(ICU)of Xinyu Iron&Steel Group Co.,Ltd.Central Hospital from January 2019 to January 2022.They were divided into control group and observation group through numerical randomization principles, with 30 patients each group.Patients in the control group received routine medical intervention, and patients in the observation group received Xuebijing injection on the basis of the control group.Liver and kidney function[aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),serum creatinine(SCr),urea nitrogen(BUN)],inflammatory factors[C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)]and mortality 28 days after admission were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment,ALT,AST,SCr and BUN in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=18.018,9.960,80.723,2.148;P<0.05).After treatment, the CRP and BUN of observation group were lower than those of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=4.165,4.766;P<0.05).28 days after admission, the mortality rate of observation group was 3.33%,which was significantly lower than that of control group(20.00%).The difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.043,P<0.05).Conclusion:Xuebijing injection significantly improves the liver and kidney function indicators of patients with infectious MODS,reduces the inflammatory response, and significant decreases the 28-day mortality rate. Its clinical effect is significant.
