Analysis of Resistance of Carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter Baumannii and Preventive Measures in a Hospital from 2020 to 2022

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the clinical distribution,drug resistance of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii(Aba)and drug resistance situation on intensive care unit and non intensive care unit in a hospital.Methods:The distribution of nosocomial infection of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii in a hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 was analyzed retrospectively.The drug susceptibility results were statistically analyzed,and the drug resistance rate was compared by χ2 tests.Results:281 strains of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii were mainly distributed in ICU(168 strains,59.79%),Respiratory Department(55 strain,19.87%),Craniocerebral Department(10 strains,3.56%).Except for Minocycline,tigecycline and Polymyxin,the resistance rate of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii to 12 antibiotics was＞50.00%.The resistance rates of carbapenem-resistant Aba to 12 kinds of drug in the intensive care unit were significantly higher than those in the non-intensive care units(χ2=9.05,12.70,21.40,16.80,14.50,15.80,12.80,17.30,16.60,14.20,24.40,7.44,0.73,0.14,1.65;P＜0.05).Conclusion:The drug resistance rate of 281 carbapenem-resistant Aba strains to 12 kinds of antibiotics in hospital infection is more than 50.0%.Comprehensive preventive and control measures for carbapenem-resistant Aba are benefit to control nosocomial infection.The problems of drug resistance of carbapenem-resistant Aba in the intensive care unit cannot be ignored and needs special attention.
