Effect of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and Moxibustion on Pregnancy Outcome and Placensin Secretion Level of Trophoblasts of IUI

Abstract：Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on improving the pregnancy outcome of patients with intrauterine insemination(IUI)and on the secretion of placensin in trophoblast cells.Methods:126 infertile patients who received IUI treatment were selected as the study subjects.56 patients who were willing to receive IUI after Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion assisted ovulation induction treatment(PPOS)were listed as the acupuncture and moxibustion group,and 70 patients who received IUI after PPOS treatment directly were listed as the routine group.The treatment status of PPOS between two groups of patients was compared,and the correlation between treatment methods and the secretion level of Placesin in trophoblast cells,and the impact on pregnancy outcomes were analyzed.Results:After treatment with different regiments,the number of days and use of gonadotropin(Gn)in acupuncture group was lower than that in conventional group,and the final or egg number was higher than that in conventional group,with statistically significant difference(t=3.536,3.753,8.335;P＜0.05).After treatment,luteinizing hormone(LH),estradiol(E2)and progesterone(P)in acupuncture and moxibustion group were lower than those in conventional group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=6.602,3.897,23.179;P＜0.05).After treatment,the Placensin level in the acupuncture group was lower than that in the conventional group,and the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome in the acupuncture group was lower than that in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.765,χ2=5.601;P＜0.05).According to Spearman correlation coefficient test,Placensin level in IUI patients decreased gradually after acupuncture treatment,and the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcome was significantly decreased(r=0.552,P＜0.05).Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and moxibustion can reduce the dosage of Gn,increase the number of oocytes retrieved,improve hormone levels and lower Placensin levels,and improve pregnancy outcomes in patients with IUI treated with PPOS.
