Abstract:Objective:To compare and analyze the short-term efficacy of different treatment methods for locally advanced oral cancer.Methods:139 patients with oral cancer treated from January 2017 to June 2021 were selected, and followed up.According to different treatment methods, four groups were divided, group A(surgery+chemotherapy),group B(surgery+conventional radiotherapy+chemotherapy),group C(surgery+conventional radiotherapy),and group D(carbon ion radiotherapy+chemotherapy). The short-term efficacy of each group under different treatment methods was evaluated, and the 1-year and 2-year survival rates after treatment were analyzed by Kaplan-Meier and Log-rank tests. Results:The effective rate of group B was higher than that of group A,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference in the effective rate of other groups(P>0.05).1-year and 2-year survival rates of group B were higher than those of the other 3 groups.Compared with group B,the survival rate of group A and Group D decreased, and there was no statistical significance in the survival rate of group A,Group C and group D(P>0.05).Conclusion:Adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy after local advanced oral cancer surgery can effectively improve the survival rate after surgery.Carbon ion radiotherapy combined chemotherapy is expected to provide new treatment options for patients who refuse surgery and cannot tolerate surgery.
