Observation on the Effect of Information Traceability System on Improving the Quality of Equipment Cleaning and Disinfection Management in Disinfection Supply Centers

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the effectiveness of the information-based traceability system in improving the quality of in-strument cleaning and disinfection management in the sterile supply center,and to promote more standardized management in the sterile supply center.Methods:464 instruments in the hospital sterilization supply center from February 2017 to March 2019 were retrospectively analyzed,236 instruments without informatization traceability system from February 2017 to February 2018 were used as the control group,and 228 instruments with informatization traceability system from March 2018 to March 2019 were used as the experimental group.The changes in device management effectiveness,quality of device management,incidence of adverse events in device management,and clinical department satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:The experimen-tal group had shorter information registration time,recovery sorting time,and exit inspection time than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=386.886,108.089,135.421,P＜0.05).The experimental group had higher cleaning pass rate,correct sterilization procedure rate,and cleaning and disinfection execution than the control,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(χ2=28.833,11.647,17.892,P＜0.05).The incidence of device management adverse events was lower in the ex-perimental group compared with the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=15.581,P＜0.05).The experi-mental group was more satisfied with the quickness of claiming items,satisfied with the accuracy of item distribution,and satisfied with the clarity of label content than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=5.316,4.396,4.332,P＜0.05).Conclusion:The application of information-based traceability system in instrument management of sterile supply center can improve the effect of instrument management,enhance the quality of instrument management,reduce the incidence of adverse events in instrument management,improve the satisfaction of clinical departments,and promote more standardized management of sterile supply center.
