Study on the Current Status and Influencing Factors of Quality of Life of Patients with Glaucoma Combined with Cataracts

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the quality of life of patients with glaucoma combined with cataract and to analyze the fac-tors affecting it,in order to provide a reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment plan.Methods:102 patients with glaucoma attending the hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected for the study,all of whom were accompanied by cataract.The quality of life of patients was assessed by the visual function-related quality of life scale(NEI-VFQ-25).The general informa-tion of patients was collected,the NEI-VFQ-25 scores of different patients were compared,and the indicators with statistically sig-nificant differences were screened into the multivariate linear multifactorial regression to analyze the factors affecting the quality of life of patients.Results:The NEI-VFQ-25 score of 102 patients with glaucoma combined with cataract was(61.42±9.58)points.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that visual acuity,disease location,social support,depression,anxiety,per capita month-ly family income,and continuity of care were the factors influencing the quality of life of the patients(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The quality of life of patients with glaucoma combined with cataract is poor,and is affected by multiple factors such as visual acuity,disease location,anxiety,and continuity of care,according to which the clinic can carry out targeted care to improve the quality of life of patients.
