Effects of Parturition on Perineal Laceration, Pain and Quality of Sexual Life in Primipara with Unprotected Perineum Delivery

Abstract:Objective:To analyze the effects of lateral position delivery combined with unprotected perineum delivery on perineal laceration, pain and quality of sexual life.Methods 96 primipara patients received from September, 2015 to September, 2017 were divided into two groups: control group and observation group with random number table. The control group were treated with traditionalperineal incision, and the observation group with lateral position delivery combined with unprotected perineum delivery. The perineallaceration, perineal pain and sexual quality were compared between the two groups.Results The degree of perineal laceration andthe degree of perineal pain in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The scores of orgasm, excitement, pain, vaginal lubrication and sexual satisfaction were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Lateral position delivery combined with unprotected perineum delivery can effectively reduce the degree of perineal fissure and pain and improve the quality of sexual life.
