Clinical Analysis of Continuous Lavage After Debridement Combined with Oral Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Early Infection After Lumbar Internal Fixation

Abstract：Objective To study the effect of continuous lavage after debridement combined with oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of early infection after lumbar internal fixation.Methods The curative effect of 30 patients with ear-ly infection after lumbar internal fixation was observed. Compared with routine treatment, the value of continuous lavage afterdebridement combined with oral Chinese medicine was analyzed.Results After treatment, the life quality scores of observation groupwere all higher than 90 points, which was much higher than that of the control group. The ODI score was (29.5±6.1), which was lowerthan that of the control group (51.3±2.8). Only one case of staphylococcus aureus infection occurred in the observation group one yearafter follow-up, and the incidence rate was 6.67 ％. There were still 5 cases of infection in the control group, which was 33.33％. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant.Conclusion Continuous lavage after debridement combined with oraltraditional Chinese medicine can control early infection after lumbar internal fixation.
