Effect of Psychosocial Care in Improving Psychological Status Before the Intervention in Cancer Patients
Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of psychosocial care in improving psychological status before the intervention in cancer patients.Method 74 patients under elective interventional therapy in Interventional Radiology from January,2014 to December,2015 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 37 cases in each group.The control group,was treated with routine nursing intervention.The observation group,on the basis of control group,was treated with social psychological care nurse,including nurses' psychotherapy,family psychological care,patients' psychological support and social care organizations.Results The SAS score and SDS scores in the observation group after intervention were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.001).Conclusion Psychosocial care through various forms,rich contents and wide approach of intervention group,can improve cancer patients' anxiety and depression status before treatment.
