Clinical Effect of Arotinolol Combined with Songling-Xuemaikang Capsule on Morning Hypertension

Abstract：Objective To explore Arotinolol combined with Songling-Xuemaikang capsule antihypertensive effects on primary morning hypertension and heart rate changes.Methods Selecting160 patients with hypertension (I-to-II grade) as the researchers.They were randomly divided into control group and treatment group (n=80).The control group had Arotinolol hydrochloride,and the treatment group took equal doses of Arotinolol hydrochloride combined with Songling-Xuemaikang Capsule.The courses of treatment in the two groups were both 8 weeks.All of them were selected before and after of 24 hours to have ambulatory blood pressure observation,and morning blood pressure,heart rate changes and clinical symptoms improvement of two groups were compared.Results Morning blood pressure and heart rate after treatment in both groups decreased than before treatment,and effect was more obvious in the treatment group.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Arotinolol hydrochloride combined with Songling-Xuemaikang Capsule treatment of morning hypertension has significant efficacy to reduce heart rate,and can treat the discomfort of the clinical symptoms with no significant adverse reactions.It is worth clinical application.
