Effect of Acupuncture Combined with Chiropractic Manipulation on Cervical Headache

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of acupuncture combined with chiropractic manipulation on cervical headache.Methods 84 cases with cervicogenic headache in the hospital from February,2015 to July,2016 were selected as the research object.And they were divided into the observation group and the control group.The control group were treated with conventional acupuncture treatment,and the observation group were treated with chiropractic manipulation based on acupuncture treatment.The clinical effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.73%,which was higher than that of the control group.VAS score after treatment was significantly lower than that of the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion In the treatment of cervicogeni headache,the combination of acupuncture and western medicine has exact effect.It can improve patients' quality of life,so it is worth popularization and application.
