Effect of Different Doses of Atorvastatin on Patients with Acute Coronary Syndromes

Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of different doses of atorvastatin in the treatment of acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Methods A total of 126 patients with acute coronary syndromes who were hospitalized in the hospital from January,2012 to December,2015 were divided into two groups according to the dose of atorvastatin: group A (63 cases) and group B (63 cases),the two groups were treated with conventional drugs,A group in the conventional medication based on the addition of 10mg atorvastatin calcium capsules,B group on the basis of conventional medication plus 20mg atorvastatin capsules,and compared the two groups LDL-C,HDL-C and hs-CRP were measured before and after treatment.Results Prior treatment,there were no significant differences in TC,LDL-C,HDL-C,hs-CRP between group A and group B (P>0.05).After treatment,TC and LDL in group A and B,HDL-C and hs-CRP were significantly different (P<0.05).Conclusion Early application of 20 mg atorvastatin can improve the blood lipid level of patients with acute coronary syndrome,and this method is worthy of popularization and application.
