Abstract:Objective To investigate the relevance of ambulatory arterial stiffness index (AASI) and coronary artery disease. Methods 425 patients with suspected coronary heart disease were selected for the study. All objects had underwent ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) detection and CAG (coronary angiography),and the value of 425 AASI patients was calculated.According to the results of 425 patients with coronary artery disease, they were divided into three groups: 85 patients with normal blood pressure in normotensive group,140 cases in high value group, and 200 cases in hypertension group. Then each group was further divided into normal coronary group and coronary artery disease group to explore the correlation of blood pressure and coronary artery disease AASI in three groups. Results The level of blood pressure of AASI coronary artery lesion group was higher than the level of coronary artery normal group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).AASI rising with blood pressure increased gradually in coronary lesions, coronary artery normal group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Age,normal blood pressure high value, high blood pressure,AASI and coronary heart disease were positively correlated (P<0.05).Conclusion With the increase of blood pressure levels, ambulatory arterial stiffness index (AASI) increases, and the risk of coronary artery disease increases.
