Effect of Post Abortion Care Model

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of post abortion care (PAC) through comparative studies of service model for abortion patients.Methods 200 women who were induced abortion in the hospital were randomly divided into control and intervention group.The intervention group used the PAC,and the control group used the regular service model.The general information and contracept-related condition of patients were analyzed,and the effects of two service models were compared.Results The rates of complication and unexpected pregnancy or recurrent abortion in the intervention group were less than the control group,and the correct grasp of contraception was significantly superior to the control group.There were statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion PAC can promote the contraception knowledge.Guiding the masses contraception scientifically may reduce the rates of recurrent abortion and improve the women`s reproductive health.
