Significance of Volume Embolization in the Early Postoperative Recovery of Patients with Ruptured Intracranial Aneurysms and the Recurrence of Late Aneurysm
Abstract:Objective To study the effect of VER on the early recovery and postoperative recurrence of ruptured intracranial aneurysm. Methods 60 patients with ruptured intracranial aneurysms received in the hospital from January,2015 to December,2016 were randomly divided into study group and control group. The control group was treated by endovascular embolization.Control group received VER measurement based on control group, and further embolization was determined based on the value of VER.Results After treatment, the symptoms of patients with consciousness disturbance, intracranial hypertension, neurological dysfunction, hydrocephalus alleviation and other symptoms of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0-05).The incidence of secondary rupture of aneurysm, vasospasm, cerebral ischemia and infection was significantly lower in the study group than in the control group (P<0-05).The relapse rate was 6-67% in the study group and 26-67% in the control group. The relapse rate in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group (x2=4-3200,P=0-0377).Conclusion VER is an objective index for assessing the degree of embolization of aneurysm, and it has a certain prognostic significance for the recurrence and rebleeding of aneurysm after embolization.
