MRI in the Diagnosis of Hirayama Disease
Abstract：Objective To study the hirayama disease onset characteristics , cervical vertebra method and diagnostic value of MRI scans.Methods A retrospective analysis of 41 cases of hirayama disease was done .Cervical spinal cord changes of hirayama disease characteristics and segmental were observed , and degree of spinal cord attenuate was measured .And analysis of cervical spine MRI bends in the diagnosis of hirayama disease was done .Results Through comparing with 41 patients with diagnosis of cervical flexion , upright posi-tion and magnetic resonance ( NMR) , it is found that cervical spinal cord all change is fine .A longitudinal hirayama disease after spinal flexion and the upright position before and after the diameter ratio is about 92.67%.the most even and C3 spinal cord itself ratio of hiraya-ma disease spinal cord is 76.74%.Conclusion MRI in hirayama disease diagnosis has a certain effect , and especially it has important value to the diagnosis.
