Clinical Application of Low-dose Multi-slice Spiral CT in the Diagnosis of Small Intestine Diseases
Abstract：Objective To investigate the CT characteristics and the diagnostic value of low -dose MSCT in small intestine diseases. Methods Patients in hospital with suspected small intestine diseases from July, 2014 to December, 2015 underwent different MSCT scans at current of 10mA,20mA,30mA,40mA,50mA and 100mA.Then the original data were transferred to workstation for image reconstruction by multi -planar reconstruction(MPR),maximum intensity projection (MIP),volume reconstruction and CT virtual endoscopy (CTVE). Results Low -dose MSCT scan and conventional -dose CT scan,in the display of the anatomical structure of the small intestine and a va-riety of diseases,found in the same lesion.Qualitative diagnosis of low -dose MSCT scan are the same.Conclusion Low -dose MSCT scanning can significantly reduce the radiation dose on patient with no reducing the diagnostic value.
