Effect and Value of VAS Score in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis

Abstract：Objective To observe and analyze VAS score in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic rhinitis. Me thods Selecting 88 cases of allergic rhinitis patients in the ear, nose and throat out-patient treatment as the main research object, and using the VAS score to assess the patients’ self-reported symptom, using the skin prick test in patients with allergic, and doing follow-up observationon the related factors of the symptoms development.Results The VAS score system diagnosis effect and skin prick test diagnosis had high consis-tency.The sensitivity was 82.3%, and specificity was 60.1%.Self-reported symptom VAS score fluctuation significantly increased, and then decreased gradually, and until the end of the treatment reduced to the lowest level.Conclusion The application of VAS score system can achieve good diagnostic results in a more economical and convenient form, which can provide a good reference for the clinical data collection.
