The Clinical Significance of the Diagnosis of PCOS by the 4 Kinds of Androgen Indexes

Abstract：Objective To discuss the clinical significance of 4 kinds of androgen .Methods The PCOS patients from March to Janu-ary 2015 in our hospital were selected , and the level of testosterone , androstenedione , dehydroepia-ndrosterone sulfate and 17α-hydroxy progesterone were compared between the PCOS and healthy people .Results There were significant differences in the level of testosterone , androstenedione , dehydroepia-ndrosterone sulfate and 17α-hydroxy progesterone between the two groups .In PCOS,the level of testoster-one and androstenedione were higher than the healthy control group ( P<0.01 ) , the level of dehydroepia -ndrosterone sulfate in the LH/FSH≥2 patients were higher than the others (P<0.05).Conclusion Testing the level of testosterone and androstenedione could improve the diagnostic accuracy on PCOS .
