Curative effect of Curcumin Treatment for Chloasma and its Effect on Melanoma

Abstract：ObjectiveTodiscussthecurativeeffectofcurcumintreatmentforchloasmaanditseffectonmelanoma.Methods 74pa-tients with melasma were selected and randomly divided into observational group and control group , with 37 cases in each group , and they were treated with curcumin and vitamin C , vitamin E respectively , the clinical effect of the two groups was observed , and the melanin index ( MCI) using skin and multi function test before and after the treatment was detected.Results The cure rate and total effective rate of ob-servation group were significantly higher than those of control group ( P<0.05 ); After treatment , the MCI of the two groups significantly decreased ( P<0.05 ) ,and the changes of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group ( P<0.05 ).Conclusion Curcumin can effectively improve the skin condition , and reduce MCI.
